How can micro and small businesses be utilized to spur job growth in ACCA countries?
Quote from Desmond Thorpe on February 21, 2021, 7:43 pmCountries in Africa, Caribbean and Central America haven't fully embrace the value of MSMEs. Currently, they are seen as an addendum to their growth strategy. MSME ecosystem in these countries is very weak. These businesses are mainly left to their own devise to power through early challenges.
Action in the Western and Southeast Asian countries is very different to the point that MSME recognition is at the top of their job creation strategy. Hence, multitude of start-ups and disruptors that have led to improved processes and innovation in all sector of their economy.
If micro, small, start-ups and disruptors are so valuable for job creation, why are ACCA countries not singing their song?
